A marauding full-back, 19-year-old Batty is highly thought of at Rovers and is known for his attacking runs down the left-hand side.

The Liverpudlian joined the club in 2017 and has already shown his eye for goal in 2021-22 having scored in pre-season against AFC Darwen and then in the opening game of the Under-18s Premier League season against Derby County.

Progressing through the ranks, Batty appeared for a senior debut for Rovers at the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign when he appeared against Hartlepool United in the Carabao Cup.

He had to wait another year to add to his tally of first-team matches, with the left-back starting in the 4-3 triumph against Walsall in the same competition in August 2023.
