Tyrhys Dolan is itching to get a Rovers start after making an impact off the bench in the last two games.

After being a regular in the squads this term, the 20-year-old picked up a hamstring injury that kept him out for the majority of Rovers' games in January.

Now back fully fit, Tony Mowbray's eased the lively forward back into his plans, with Dolan appearing as a substitute against Nottingham Forest and then West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.

Known for his attacking quality, Dolan showed good defensive instincts to hack an effort off the line against the Baggies to ensure there wasn't a late winner for the hosts at the Hawthorns.

And the next step is a starting berth, with Dolan champing at the bit to earn his spot in the side again

“Tyrhys’ personality finds it hard when he can’t play due to injury," the boss revealed to RoversTV when discussing his young attacker.

"He’s bursting out of his skin to have an impact in the team"
