Role: Sport and Exercise Scientist (Psychology).
Experience: I have previously worked with professional basketball and ice hockey teams, Team GB Biathlon, and Canadian college ice hockey in delivering sport psychology support. I have also coached the Bangor University Ladies Football Team whilst at University, and captained Vauxhall Ladies F.C team as a player.
Qualifications: BSc. in Sport, Health, and Physical Education. MSc. in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology. Currently at the latter stages of a PhD. in Sport Psychology, which focusses on confidence and performance. I am also accredited as a Sport and Exercise Scientist (Psychology) through BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences).
About me: Aside from my role in the RTC, I also lecture at Bangor University in North Wales. I absolutely love the challenge of trying to improve a team or individual's level of performance by applying sport psychology. I feel most at home in a football environment and I am very excited to be joining the staff here at Blackburn Rovers. In my spare time I play football for Egerton FC, when I am not playing football, I am probably watching it!
