Serena is a new recruit, having transferred to Rovers from Leicester City Women in January 2019.

The young defender can play across the back four or as a wide midfielder.

Fletcher, formerly of Manchester United, also plied her trade in Manchester City’s Development side and at Liverpool Women, before joining the Foxes. 

Beginning her career with Manchester United, Fletcher progressing through their academy before making the moving to Liverpool at the age of 16.

The defender played 20 games for the Reds over two seasons and finished 2016/17 by winning the FA WSL Development League title.

Fletcher won the Development League title again with Manchester City, along with the Development League Cup, making 13 appearances in 2017/18, before leaving to join Leicester.

The 20 year-old turned out nine times for Leicester earlier this season, scoring her first senior goal in the process. 

She represented England Under-20s in the La Manga Tournament in 2018, playing 90 minutes in a 2-0 win over Norway. 

The defender also won three caps for England Under-17s in 2015.
