Former Scotland international Craig Conway joined Rovers from Cardiff City in January 2014.

Having started his footballing career at Ayr United, Conway then moved to Dundee United in 2006, enjoying a five-year spell at Tannadice, whilst also earning international honours.

In June 2011, the winger made the move south to Cardiff City, playing his part as the Bluebirds secured promotion to the Premier League in 2012-13, scoring the goal that clinched the title in a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

However, with limited first team opportunities in the top flight, he subsequently joined Brighton on loan.

The end of the January 2014 transfer window saw Rovers move to sign Conway and he would go on to be one of the standout performers in the second half of that campaign.

Known for his key contribution in providing goalscoring opportunities for the forwards, the Scot has continued his fine form at Ewood Park.

His endeavours were rewarded with him putting pen-to-paper on a new two-and-a-half-year deal to extend his stay at Rovers until the summer of 2018.

At the end of the 2017-18 campaign, Craig penned a fresh one-year deal to head into a sixth season at Ewood Park.
