Semir signed for Rovers on deadline day in August 2023 from Bundesliga side Borussia Mӧnchengladbach for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal through to June 2026, with the option of an additional 12 months.

Fast and physical, Telalovic arrives at Rovers with a prolific goalscoring record from his homeland.

The striker started his senior career with SSV Ehingen-Süd, netting a goal every other game, prior to successful spell with FV Illertissen, where he scored 14 goals in 23 games.

In January 2022, he made the move to Borussia Mӧnchengladbach, where he continued his fine form in front of goal, netting 22 goals in 49 games for the club’s Under-23s side.

Promoted to their senior squad earlier this year, Telalovic made his Bundesliga debut against Augsburg in January, before further first team appearances against RB Leipzig and Stuttgart.

Telalovic made his debut for the club as a second half substitute in the 2-1 win over Middlesbrough in September 2023.
