Rovers left back Greg Cunningham is targeting momentum in the next block of fixtures before the upcoming international break.
Championship football returns for Rovers this weekend after a two week period without a game due to international outings.
There will be another five encounters in the league before the next batch of international call ups, and Cunningham's keen for Rovers to build on a solid start to the campaign.
That quintet of clashes begins with Millwall on Saturday afternoon at Ewood Park, with the 28-year-old already looking forward to getting back to business in blue-and-white.
“Looking at the fixtures until the next international break you can see there’s a nice block of games," the Irish loanee tld iFollow Rovers.
"Hopefully we can get some wins, some momentum and really kick on from here.
“The performances have been there so far and I think we’ve been unlucky not to pick up some results that the performances have warranted.
“That’s the way it goes sometimes and we’re sure the points will come if we keep putting the work in.
“The games come thick and fast in this league and you need to be on it every week.
“Once we gain momentum and get more points on the board then I’m sure we’ll be flying," he added.
“It’s going to be a stop-start beginning to the season with three international breaks, but it allows you to break things down into blocks.
“The season will fly by, so we just have to make sure we’re in a fighting position at the turn of the year and really kick on then."
