It was a mixed night for Rovers pair Corry Evans and Louie Annesley on Tuesday evening.
Evans captained Northern Ireland to a narrow 1-0 friendly victory over Luxembourg at Windsor Park in his home city of Belfast.
The 29-year-old played the first 68 minutes in the game, with Kevin Malget's first half own goal proving the difference in the Northern Irish capital.
Evans and Northern Ireland next host Germany in a Euro 2020 qualifier next Monday (September 9th).
Northern Ireland currently have a 100% record in Group C, having beaten both Belarus and Estonia at home and away, and Evans will hope to add to his 54 caps in the Belfast double-header.
Elsewhere, defender Annesley appeared for 45 minutes in Gibraltar's heavy home defeat to Denmark at the Victoria Stadium.
The youngster played the first half against a strong Denmark team that included Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen in their side.
Eriksen bagged a brace of penalties as the Danes ran out comfortable 6-0 winners.
Next up for Team 54 is a trip away to Switzerland on Sunday (September 8th).
Gibraltar find themselves bottom of Group D, having lost their opening four group games
