New Rovers recruit Louise McDaniel can’t wait to get going following her move from Linfield Ladies.
The Northern Ireland international winger joins the Blues following a successful spell playing for her home town team.
And she felt the club’s environment was a big factor in choosing to come to Rovers.
“I’m really excited to get started and be involved in the team,” McDaniel beamed after signing for the club.
“Obviously the success that the team went through last season made me want to come and play here.”
“Gemma (Donnelly) just wanted to get me in and involved with the girls. They’ve have all been really welcoming and I just like the atmosphere in the club so I’m really excited.
The 19-year-old believes she has plenty to give, having already starred in the Champions League for Linfield, and is looking forward to the challenge of playing in the Championship.
“It’s going to be a really big test for us but I’m excited to see what I can offer to the team and see what I can bring.
“I’m a really attack-minded player so hopefully I can get in there and get some goals for myself and some points on the board for us.
“It’s going to be a pleasure to get my first minutes for the club so I’m really excited for it.”
