Rovers youngster Harry Chapman has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for August.
The 21-year-old has provided a number of eye-catching displays for Bill Barr's charges already this season, with the winger scoring or assisting in each of Rovers' opening three Premier League 2 games in the first month of the campaign.
Chapman's excellent return of three goals and one assist included a brace in a 5-3 win at Brighton & Hove Albion last time out.
The other players up for the award, which were decided by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel after PL2 club managers picked the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches in August, are:
Folarin Balogun (Arsenal)
James Garner (Man Utd)
Billy Gilmour (Chelsea)
Dan Kemp (West Ham)
Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal)
Brandon Williams (Man Utd)
The winner will be announced via PL.com and @PLYouth at some point next week.
Rovers currently sit in ninth position in Premier League 2, and are next in action against Everton at Goodison Park on Monday 16th September, kick-off 7pm.
Good luck, Harry!
