Rovers are delighted to announce that rising star Jack Vale has today signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 18-year-old, who joined Rovers from TNS at the age of 14, has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal, keeping him at Ewood Park until June 2023.
An exciting talent with huge potential, Vale shot to prominence during the 2017-18 FA Youth Cup campaign, during which he bagged a brilliant hat-trick in a fifth round tie against Nottingham Forest at Ewood Park.
The young forward, who can play in any attacking position on the pitch, made his debut for Rovers Under-23s in September 2017, before signing his first pro deal with the club in March 2018.
Vale continued his progress last season, netting five goals in seven starts in Premier League 2, as Rovers secured a fifth-place finish in the top tier of development football, before rounding off a memorable campaign with a goal against Burnley in the final of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
A regular for Rovers Under-23s this season, Vale is also making strides on the international stage and will join up with the Wales Under-21s squad for the first time next week, ahead of their Euro 2021 qualifier away to Moldova on Friday October 11th.
