Rovers Under-23s’ opening Premier League Cup group game away to Crystal Palace tomorrow has been called off.
Adverse weather conditions over the past 48 hours have made the pitch unplayable, resulting in the Group G fixture being postponed.
The game, which is taking place at the Champion Hill Stadium, Dulwich Hamlet FC, has now been rescheduled for Thursday October 17th, kick-off 1pm.
Meanwhile, Rovers have been drawn at home to Everton in the quarter-final of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
Billy Barr’s side, who lifted the trophy last season, booked their place in the last eight courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Accrington Stanley last month.
The quarter-final tie will take place at the LFA County Ground in Leyland on Wednesday October 9th, kick-off 7pm.
Finally, the Premier League 2 fixtures against Liverpool Under-23s have been reversed and will now take place on the following dates:
- Liverpool U23s (A)
Saturday October 26th
- Liverpool U23s (H)
Monday March 2nd
