Kayleigh McDonald has issued a rallying call for Rovers fans to continue their support for the team at Bamber Bridge, when the Ladies return to their home next month.
After a record crowd of 966 turned out at Ewood Park on Sunday, the defender was delighted with the backing the side received.
She hopes it can be replicated for the next two fixtures against Liverpool and Crystal Palace on the 21st and 24th November respectively.
And says that it can really make a difference to hear the crowd behind them.
“It’s amazing. I’m loving the backing that we’re getting. Hopefully it can go on not just at Ewood Park but at Bamber Bridge as well.”
“If we have a good crowd against Crystal Palace who can get behind us again, we can get three points on the table.”
Although there are two Continental Cup games coming up before then, McDonald knows it is crucial to get a win in that next league game against the South Londoners.
“A point was better than nothing (against Coventry) but we just need to go back to training now and put things right. And look onto Sunday and start grabbing these chances.
“Both teams are going to be fighting for these points so I know everyone is going to be working hard.”
