Rovers Ladies face Sheffield United Women on Sunday looking to kickstart their Continental Cup campaign.

Here’s our guide to the League Cup fixture…

It's a 2pm kick-off at Olympic Legacy Park.

The Blues came away from Ewood Park frustrated to draw 2-2 with Coventry United last time out. A late goal denied Rovers all three points, after Saffron Jordan had scored a brace.

Rovers are yet to pick up a win in the Cup – losing one and drawing one of the opening two games against Durham and Coventry United respectively.

Carla Ward’s side come into this game off the back of a 2-2 draw at home to Charlton in the league.

The Blades were trailing at half-time before equalising with 15 minutes to go. They sit third in the Championship table.

In the Continental Cup, United have three points from their opening two games and will have their sights set on moving into the top two.

The two sides met in the league last month, with United coming away from Bamber Bridge with all three points.

Saffron Jordan and Natasha Flint were both on the scoresheet for the Blues in the 3-2 defeat.

Lauren Davies returns to the squad after missing Sunday’s game, but Fran Stenson is unavailable for selection, so Lauren Perry is expected to deputise between the sticks.

Advanced tickets are available to buy via the Sheffield United website. Adults are priced at £5, concessions at £3. You can also buy tickets on the gate.
