Rovers Ladies are aiming to record back-to-back league victories when they entertain Coventry United at Ewood Park.
Here’s our guide to the Women’s Championship fixture…
It's a 2pm kick-off at Ewood Park, with the Family Stand turnstiles open from 1pm.
STATE OF PLAY
Coventry are searching for their first win of the season, while another three points for Rovers would see them move further away from the bottom of the table.
The Blues shocked league leaders Durham a fortnight ago, taking maximum points from their trip to the North East.
Durham got their revenge in the Continental Cup a week later, beating Rovers 3-1 at Bamber Bridge.
Coventry come into the game off the back of a 5-1 home defeat to Super League side Liverpool in the Conti Cup.
They were agonisingly close to a point in their last league meeting at home to London City Lionesses, whose injury time winner left them stuck on one point.
The two sides met in the Continental Cup last month with the game ending in a 1-1 draw.
Ellie Stewart’s first-half penalty had Gemma Donnelly’s charges in front but the home side hit back in the second period and then won the penalty shootout 4-3 to take an extra Group Stage point.
Lauren Davies is unavailable for selection but Rovers welcome Fran Stenson back into the squad.
The Arsenal loanee kept a clean sheet in her last league outing for the Blues away at Durham.
Summer signing Lauren Thomas remains a few weeks away from a return to action.
