Rovers Ladies travel to Durham this weekend to restart their league season, following the latest international break.

Here’s all the information you need ahead of the trip to the North East...

Rovers are in search of their first points of the season, following narrow losses against London Bees, Sheffield United, Aston Villa and an opening day defeat at Lewes.

But three points could see Gemma Donnelly’s charges rise as high as eighth by the end of the weekend, if other results go in their favour.

Durham have made a flying start, winning all four of their league fixtures to sit top of the Championship table, scoring 15 goals and conceding just two.

Lee Saunders’ side thrashed London City Lionesses 6-0 last time out to maintain their 100% start.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides, who will also meet in the Continental League Cup on 20th October.

The Wildcats formed in 2014 and have competed in the Championship, (formerly the WSL 2) since then.

Fran Stenson and Louise McDaniel are back from international duty, as are Lauren Perry and Kelsie Burrows - with both pushing to make their Rovers debuts on Sunday.

Natasha Flint is back to full fitness, while Danielle Whitham is also clear to play following her concussion and expected to return to the squad.

The only injury concern is Lauren Thomas, who is out for a further three weeks following her broken collarbone.

Tickets are available to buy in advance of the fixture, via Durham’s website. Adults are priced at £6, concessions at £3 and a family of four are £14. Click here to buy now.

You can also buy tickets on the gate, with no price increase.
