Bradley Johnson wants a complete performance to kickstart Rovers' season when the team tackle Barnsley at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Johnson will be hoping to return to the team against The Tykes having been left out of the side since starting in the midweek clash against Birmingham City at St Andrew's at the end of last month.
The 32-year-old sat out the last outing against old club Leeds United at Elland Road, but wants to help Rovers get back on track for the next battle against United's Yorkshire rivals.
“We have had some time off over the international break and we’ve reflected on our last game," he said.
“We want to put things right and having been working hard on the training pitch.
“We have another tough game on Saturday but hopefully we can put right the wrongs from our last game and get the three points.
“You want that consistency and it can be hard with the breaks especially if you’ve not got the wins.
“We want to get a run of results going and hopefully we can start that on Saturday. I think everyone in the squad would agree that we haven’t had a complete 90 minutes.
“We’ve either been below par first half and come out and given it a go in the second half or vice versa. We know we need that complete 90 minutes and we’re all trying for that.
“We’re working hard on the training pitch with the manager and the coaching staff and we know that we’re capable of doing it it’s just putting that in to play on Saturday and hopefully we can do that."
