Following the recent home game against Huddersfield Town, two Rovers fans have been dealt with by both Lancashire Police and Blackburn Rovers in respect of a pyrotechnic device which was set off in the Blackburn End stand.

In accordance with the EFL’s Pyrotechnics Charter, the two supporters – an adult and a juvenile – have been handed three-year club bans.

This means they cannot attend games at Ewood Park or buy tickets for away fixtures. In addition, the adult is due to appear before a court in the New Year.

Pyrotechnic devices are potentially dangerous and, as such, are prohibited under the Ground Regulations.

Blackburn Rovers have a zero tolerance of the use of such devices and will take strong and decisive action against any person bringing/attempting to bring into or using pyrotechnics at Ewood Park.
