Rovers Ladies face Crystal Palace Women on Sunday looking to climb up the Women’s Championship table.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the game…

Kick-off at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Bamber Bridge is scheduled for 2pm on Sunday 24 November.

Rovers haven’t played a league fixture since the 2-2 draw with Coventry United at Ewood Park on 27 October.

After recovering from conceding early on, Saffron Jordan’s brace had put Gemma Donnelly’s side ahead but there was late heartbreak when Coventry equalised in the dying minutes.

The Blues currently sit in ninth place, but with two games in hand on teams above them in the table, taking all three points is crucial.

Crystal Palace are in seventh position having taken eight points from their opening eight games (W2, D2, L4)

The Eagles, managed by Dean Davenport, are one of those teams to have played two games more than Rovers.

They have lost five of their last six games in all competitions, with a 3-2 victory over London Bees their only three points during that period.

Like Rovers, Palace come into this game off the back of a 6-0 defeat to Super League opposition in the Continental Cup. It was Reading who proved too strong for the South Londoners on Thursday night.

This is the first Championship meeting between the two sides.

Alex Taylor comes back into the squad, as does Fran Stenson, who was also unavailable for Thursday’s cup clash.

But Kelsey Pearson picked up an injury during the Liverpool game and will not be considered.

Milly Robertson is a long-term absentee due to the injury which forced her off at Sheffield United.

You can buy on the gate at Bamber Bridge (cash only). Adults are priced at £5, concessions at £3 and juniors at £2.
