What's going on at Ewood throughout Saturday afternoon? We host Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood Park and here's our matchday timetable for the main event against The Owls...

Ex-service personnel and representatives of The Queen’s Lancashire Regiment Veterans Charity and the Royal British Legion will be special guests of the club and will perform a pre-match tribute, as we remember and honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice whilst serving their country in conflict.

Members of the local Cadet Force will be selling poppies and collecting donations outside the stadium, whilst we also have a limited number of official Blackburn Rovers poppy badges available to purchase from the Roverstore.

As a mark of respect, representatives of both teams will lay wreaths in the centre circle and a minute’s silence will take place prior to kick-off, during which the Last Post will be played.

8:30 Blues is open for the World Cup Final between England and South Africa in the rugby over in Japan.

9.00 Roverstore is open for business. Get kitted out in the latest Rovers gear ahead of the weekend's game.

12:30 The Foster's FanZone stage and bar begin their regular pre-match service, while just round the corner towards the Jack Walker Stand, our Chip and Bin challenge will be getting set up so that you can all come and test the quality of your shooting!

13:00 Strikers' Family Lounge opens on the second floor of the Blackburn End, come on in and enjoy table football, pool, games consoles, colouring challenges and much, much more.

13:10 Rovers Return tickets go on sale, with one free Golden Ticket for every two main draw tickets you buy, giving you a chance of winning hospitality at a future game!

13.30 Members of the local Cadet Force will be selling poppies and collecting donations outside the stadium.

14:25 Don’t miss your chance to nominate your child to read out the Rovers team news in the FanZone if they’re aged 16 or under!

14.52 The teams emerge from the tunnel, joined by our two mascots - Freya and Layton - who will be leading the teams out.

14:54 A poignant Remembrance Day commemoration will start with local Cadets forming a guard of honour, with representatives of The Queen's Lancashire Regiment Veterans Charity also carrying a wreath and the matchball. Following the emergence of the teams – accompanied by player escorts from Clitheroe Wolves Under-12s Reds – a memorial ceremony including an address from our Club Chaplain, Ken Howles, a minute’s silence and the playing of The Last Post will take place ahead of kick-off.

15.00 Kick-off. Rovers' home clash against Sheffield Wednesday gets underway at Ewood Park.

15.25 We encourage supporters to join in with our celebrations to mark 25 years since our Premier League triumph.

15:52 Half-time penalty contest on the pitch for today’s visiting schools and community clubs.

16.45 Concourse kiosks will reopen with some special birthday meal deals on offer to supporters.

16.50 An LED light show will begin ahead of our fireworks display.

17.15 To mark Rovers’ 144th birthday, bonfire night and Diwali, sit back and enjoy our fantastic firework display! Fans with tickets in the Riverside Stand are permitted to move into other areas to watch the display. Supporters should note that there will be no access to the back of the Riverside Stand before or after the game.

17.15 Local band The Tone Junkies will be rounding off what we hope will be an enjoyable weekend for us all. The acclaimed Liverpool-based three-piece rock and acoustic band have supported 10cc and The Fun Loving Criminals, so expect a repertoire of upbeat classics that you can sing along to ... and hopefully celebrate to!

19.00 Over 300 guests will attend the club’s first ever Diwali event, which will be held in the Premier Suite at Ewood Park. It promises to be a night to remember, with the festivity including an authentic three-course Indian meal, Bhangra dance, Bollywood music, a further fireworks display and much more.
