Rovers' week began with a go-karting session in Manchester, and will ideally end with a three-point haul in Leeds.
With more than 40 years of experience of being in football, Tony Mowbray knows just how vital team bonding is for a united dressing room.
And following the victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Ewood Park last weekend, this week seemed a better week than most to get the helmet on and hit the tracksl.
“We didn’t train on Monday - we went out for a team bonding session that day," the boss revealed to iFollow Rovers, with a number of the squad showcasing their karting skills on social media this week.
“We have a big game this weekend and we’ve put the work in, preparing for a normal week.
“The team bonding session went well and it was something that we’ve discussed over the last few weeks. There’s been a lot of tension when you’re not winning games, so it was nice to take the pressure off the lads.
“It’s easier to do it after a victory. It was good to see everyone enjoy themselves, interacting, but also showing their competitive side as well.
“I know the group and they’re fighting really hard, they’re fighting for each other.
“They are great lads and it was pleasing to see their hard work rewarded at the weekend.
“Whether they’re on the bench, starting or in the stands, this is our club. We’re all pulling in the same direction," he added.
“It’s a competitive league, we’re all trying our best and we’re not far away, I feel."
