Rovers Ladies Captain Saffron Jordan says the team can’t get too down after the 6-0 Conti Cup defeat at home to Liverpool, with a huge Championship game just around the corner.
The Blues face Crystal Palace at Bamber Bridge on Sunday (2pm), in what is a six-pointer for two teams in the bottom half of the table.
And Jordan insists there are still positives to take from Thursday nights game, particularly in the second-half.
"I think it was a game of two halves really,” the skipper said speaking to the FA after the game.
"In the first half we went for it a bit. We tried some different tactics, but obviously they didn't come off well enough.
"Liverpool showed their different level. It showed that they're full-time while we're all working.
"But we can have plenty of pride in our second-half performance.
"I think it took until the last 15 minutes or so for Liverpool to break us down and get their fifth goal.
"There were a few tired legs out there for us, you could see that.We haven't played for two weeks, and that showed.
"We can take all that into Sunday now though, and hope for a better performance against Crystal Palace.
"Our main focus is the league. The cup is good for us to play against more experienced sides like Liverpool and Aston Villa, but our main focus has always been on the league."
