It was a whirlwind few days for Rovers playmaker Lewis Holtby, who managed to squeeze in a wedding during the latest international break.
Holtby, who proposed to his now wife in the last break in October, showed that famous German efficiency by tying the knot a month later.
And now he's a married man, he says the focus is all on picking up points with Rovers, as he reflects on the big day and looks ahead to what will be a hectic schedule on the pitch, too.
"It's been a busy time in the international break," he began when talking to iFollow Rovers this week.
"We got married, it was pretty hectic, but it was lovely to have my friends and family there around us.
"We had three days and it was quite manic. We got up at 4am, flew from Manchester to Dusseldorf to get the papers done. We took the train north to Bremen and met everybody in the hotel.
"We didn't have much sleep, got up the next morning, got married, had food and then had to go to the airport, flew from Amsterdam to Manchester, got back in, looked at each other and thought 'bloody hell, those two or three days flew past us!'
"Now we are a family. It's been a whirlwind few days, but now it's time to look forward to a lot of games, which is something that the fans like as well.
"It could be a big, big chance for us to nick points, hopefully seven or nine per week, to give us a boost and turn things around," he added when previewing the schedule.
"It'll be nasty because it'll be very cold and there are some tough places to go, but with two home games coming up they will hopefully be more of an advantage for us to go out there and play on the front foot."
