It was a weekend of frustration for Ryan Nyambe and Namibia as the Brave Warriors suffered defeat to Guinea in the second game of the AFCON Qualifiers.
Guinea, who included Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita in their starting XI, took the lead just before half time through Issiaga Sylla.
That was how the score remained until the 70th minutes, with Jose Kante making the score safe for the hosts at the Stade du 28 Septembre Stadium.
The result sees Namibia drop to third place in Group A, with Guinea leapfrogging the Brave Warrior to the top of the standings, with Mali rising to second.
Namibia will have to wait until next summer for the following games in the group, the first of which will take place in August 2020.
It'll be the first of a quick-fire double header against Mali, with the venue to be confirmed.
Ryan will now return to Rovers for training ahead of this weekend's game against Barnsley at Ewood Park.
