Tony Mowbray is preparing to shuffle the pack at the back this weekend with Rovers set to juggle with the defence at home to Barnsley.
Mowbray could welcome back Darragh Lenihan from injury, but countryman Derrick Williams is set to miss out after picking up a slight knock playing for his country against New Zealand.
Ryan Nyambe was also in international action, but he's only just touched down after representing Namibia.
And the boss admits he has decisions to make on his team selection.
“Pretty key footballers have been missing from our team for long periods," he told iFollow Rovers ahead of the game against The Tykes.
“Whilst I don’t want to use it as an excuse, [Darragh] Lenihan has been missing for seven or eight games, and yet the evidence when he played alongside Derrick Williams, with four clean sheets.
“We’ve not been ripping it up scoring four or five goals, but we’ve been scoring two goals regularly and that should be enough to win games if you’re secure defensively.
“We’ve had a frustrating time recently, but it looks like Lenihan will be fit as he’s trained from Monday onwards.
“Fingers crossed that he’ll be fine for Saturday. We’ve lost Derrick Williams, who limped off for the Republic of Ireland in the international break.
“[Ryan] Nyambe’s just got back today after taking four flights to get back from his international break. It’s been a long old travelling time for him and he’s come back with a bug as well."
