There's been plenty of occasions where Bradley Dack has been the Rovers hero, and he was to receive that tag once again following his match-winning moment against Barnsley.
In what was a frustrating performance from the hosts, Dack was the shining light, scoring twice, which included the dramatic winner late on in the encounter against a resolute Tykes side.
The playmaker was in the right place at the right time to register his eighth goal of the season after his seventh of the campaign broke the deadlock in the first half.
And speaking afterwards, Tony Mowbray reserved special praise for the 25-year-old.
“Dack was immense and it was good to see Joe Rothwell play well," the boss reflected to iFollow Rovers.
“The second half was what I love about Bradley. He got wrapped up in the game, making tackles and putting his body on the line and then he's back in their box in 20 seconds.
“That's what he does. He leads the team through his quality and class, he scores the goals and helps the midfield out.
“That's what I want to see more of. I want to see someone enjoying their football, playing like that kid in the playground, and it's something that he has a license to do with us.
“I'm pleased for him because he doesn't always get the rewards for the work that he put in. Sometimes it's tireless for someone so gifted
“It's good to be able to bring a Graham or a Downing off the bench to have an impact on the game, as they did against Barnsley."
