Matchday timetable: Swansea City (H)

A look at what's going on before, during and after our final game of the season at Ewood Park

4 May 2019

What's going on at Ewood throughout tomorrow? We host Swansea City at Ewood Park and here's our matchday timetable for the main event against the Swans...

Opening Times...

09:00 Roverstore

09:30 Blues

10:00 Foster’s FanZone

10:30 Strikers’ Lounge

11:00 Concourses

What’s On?...

10:00 An early start in the Foster’s FanZone, where we’ll be featuring a special awareness stall for today’s designated charity, East Lancashire Hospice, alongside the usual music, chat and access to hot and cold refreshments. Alcohol service in Blues also starts now.

10:30 Our matchday bucket collection for East Lancashire Hospice begins – please give generously if you can.

10:45 Rovers Return tickets go on sale, with what we’re hoping will be one of the season’s highest jackpots up for grabs! The more you buy, the higher your chances of winning and the more proceeds that make their way to the club’s Academy.

11.30 Local singer Lois will be performing on the FanZone. Energetic and fun, Lois is an amazing vocalist who covers hits from Dua Lipa, Plan B, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Frank Sinatra and many more. She has an unusual spin on delivering the greatest hits we all know and love.

11:50 Team news time in the FanZone! Come along to hear our final teamsheet of the season being broadcast to the crowd by one of our young supporters.

12:15 Make sure you give a great reception to our big winners as we unveil our official Goal of the Season and Player of the Year winners to the Ewood Park crowd!

12:25 A warm welcome to St James’ Primary School in Millom, who have travelled south from Cumbria to form this afternoon’s guard of honour.

12:27 You can afford to lose your voice by producing a huge roar for the arrival of the teams … you’ve got a couple of months for it to recover before the first friendly of 2019-20! Today, the teams will be led out by a trio of mascot brothers - Kenzie, Kayden and Klayton Brown - and accompanied by player escorts from Mill Hill U8 Orange.

13:18 Time to find out who has won the final Rovers Return jackpot of the season, with the draw being conducted by Sharon Crymble from East Lancashire Hospice to help raise awareness of our partnership with the charity. Today’s bonus prize for the winner of the Golden Ticket draw will be a David Raya shirt, signed by the shot-stopper himself and complete with his trademark cropped sleeves!

13:20 We hope you’ll give a very warm reception to all of our newly-signed Academy Under-9 players, who will be introduced to the crowd.

14:20 Please stay in your seats for the post-match festivities. Once Swansea City’s players have had their chance to acknowledge their supporters, the Rovers first team squad and their families will take part in a lap around the pitch, where we can all say our farewells to one another, until we begin again in August.

15:30 Blues, as ever, will be the place to be if you’re a live music fan, with Gary Ward and Teri Birtwistle performing a sing-along selection of well-known acoustic covers.
