Newly promoted Rovers Ladies are pleased to announce the signing of a new deal which will keep Bamber Bridge as their home ground for the next two seasons.
The Blues’ move into the Sir Tom Finney Stadium has coincided with the most successful period in the club’s history, winning three league titles in a row, as well as back to back League Cup Final triumphs.
And the club has now had their promotion to the FA Women’s Championship confirmed, meaning that the stadium will host second tier women’s football next campaign.
Manager Gemma Donnelly says the ground share with Evo Stik Northern Premier Division outfit Bamber Bridge FC is beneficial for everyone.
“I’m pleased that we were able to play our final league game of the season against Guiseley at our home venue, which we have secured for the next two seasons.
“I wish to place on record my thanks to Bamber Bridge for providing an excellent provision over the last few years and one that we definitely can home.
“I look forward to returning for next season and continuing to work with Bamber Bridge to drive our attendances and increase spectators at this excellent stadium.”
