Young Rovers defender Louie Annesley has been called up by Gibraltar for two upcoming Euro 2020 Qualifiers.
The teenager, who arrived at Rovers from Lincoln Red Imps in his homeland in January, will be hopeful of earning caps number six and seven for his country.
First up for Gibraltar is a trip to Georgia on Friday 7th June, with the match being held in the capital city of Tbilisi, kick-off 6pm GMT.
Just three days later and Annesley will be hoping to run out at the Aviva Stadium, with Gibraltar taking on the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Monday 10th June, kick-off 7.45pm GMT.
Gibraltar suffered defeat to Ireland at the Victoria Stadium towards the end of last season, but will see these two encounters as a good opportunity to get up and running in Group D, especially with bottom side Georgia having lost both of their opening two games of the competition.
The news comes just a day after it was confirmed that captain Charlie Mulgrew has been named in the Scotland squad for the same competition.
Good luck, Louie!
