Harry Chapman has thanked the Rovers supporters for their backing since returning from Middlesbrough, and is keen to continue developing under boss Tony Mowbray.
The flying winger returned to Ewood Park from Boro on a permanent deal in January this year following an impressive spell in East Lancashire during the 2017-18 campaign.
A chance to link up with Mowbray and the squad again was something Chapman couldn't turn down, but admits the decision was eased by the Rovers faithful.
“Even when I was back at Middlesbrough, the support from the Rovers fans on social media was overwhelming," Chapman said honestly.
"I can’t thank them enough for that.
“They pushed hard to get me back to the club, which made my decision so much easier, with the manager playing a huge part in that, of course.
“I developed so much under the gaffer during the first three months of our League One promotion season and hopefully I can improve more under him.
"He really trusts me and I can’t wait to play more during the next campaign."
