The big news of the night is a debut for Tyler Magloire, for this evening's home clash against Wigan Athletic at Ewood Park.

The defender's inclusion is one of three changes to the team from Saturday's encounter against Preston North End, with Amari'i Bell and Lewis Travis the other pair of alterations.

The latter duo come in for Corry Evans and Richie Smallwood, whilst Magloire makes his first appearance in the first team in place of injured skipper Charlie Mulgrew.

Derrick Williams chalks up his 100th league start for the club, and is expected to play alongside Magloire at the heart of the Rovers defence.

Wigan include experienced centre back Jonas Olsson, who was signed by Tony Mowbray at West Bromwich Albion, in their lineup.

Former Manchester United playmaker Nick Powell also starts, supporting Blackburn-born Joe Garner in attack for the visiting Latics.

Kick-off this afternoon is at 7.45pm and you can follow all the action via iFollow Rovers or across our social media channels.
