The Blues are back at home on Saturday, facing an in-form Preston North End.

Here’s our guide to the game…

Rovers currently sit in 17th position in the Sky Bet Championship table, 10 points adrift of the play-offs and 11 points away from the relegation zone.

Tony Mowbray’s side went down 3-2 against Rotherham United at the New York Stadium last weekend.

A goal from Amari’I Bell and Charlie Mulgrew’s late penalty – his 10th Rovers goal of the season – wasn’t enough for the Blues to take anything out of the game.

As always, we'll be bringing you team news and live updates on the game via social media. Fans can follow all the action on our official Twitter account, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm.

Darragh Lenihan is still ruled out, while Harry Chapman is expected to get another run out for Rovers Under-23s next week.

But Derrick Williams, fresh his latest international call-up, is back in contention after a two-match suspension.

Preston are in 12th position, six points off the play-offs. They are on a good run of form – unbeaten in the last nine.

A run of just four defeats in 25 matches has rocketed the Lilywhites into the top half of the table.

Alex Neil’s side drew 1-1 with Bristol City at Deepdale last time out. Daniel Johnson scored before City hit back in the second-half to take a point.
