It’s a trip to Villa Park coming up on Saturday for Tony Mowbray’s side.

Here’s our guide to the game…

The Blues were defeated 4-2 by Sheffield Wednesday two weeks ago, despite Craig Conway and Elliott Bennett both scoring their first goals of the season at Hillsborough.

Rovers now sit in 16th position in the Sky Bet Championship table, with Birmingham City’s point deduction moving them below the Blues, who are now exactly 10 points away from both the play-offs and the relegation zone.

As always, we'll be bringing you team news and live updates on the game at Villa Park via social media. Fans can follow all the action on our official Twitter account, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

There's good news on the injury front, with Rovers welcoming back a quartet of defenders onto the training pitch this week.

Darragh Lenihan and Charlie Mulgrew have been in training this week, while Jack Rodwell and Amari'i Bell are also back in contention.

Corry Evans will travel with the squad but Mowbray is yet to make a decision on whether he will play a part on Saturday.

Harry Chapman and Jacob Davenport are close to being ready to return in the next few weeks.

Villa are on a hot streak of form, which has moved them into the play-offs on goal difference.

Dean Smith’s side have won their last four games to storm up the table, including a 3-0 win over promotion rivals Middlesbrough last time out.

It was a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture against Villa at Ewood Park, with Bradley Dack giving Rovers the lead before a late Conor Hourihane free-kick levelled the scores.

Plenty has changed since that game, with the Villains dispensing with Steve Bruce and appointing Smith.
