Harrison Reed says back-to-back home games are a chance for Rovers to make up to the fans for the disappointing recent form.
The 24-year-old, who is on loan from Southampton, is targeting six points from a possible six, with Preston North End visiting Ewood Park on Saturday before Wigan Athletic make the short trip north on Saturday.
And speaking to iFollow Rovers, the diminutive midfield man admits it's time to get back on track by gaining maximum points from the double-header.
“We have two big games coming up and we owe them both one," Reed said ahead of the encounters against our neighbours.
“The manager said to us this week we have to be right up for it and give a performance for the fans.
“We found it tough, for whatever reason, but we have analysed those games and what we struggled with and we will look to impose ourselves on them.
“The atmosphere has been brilliant and the fans get right behind us. Hopefully that can inspire us to a win," he added
“We know what it means to the fans, and bragging rights around here, so as players we need to go out and put a performance in for the fans and the manager has spoken to us about that.”
