Rovers will be boosted this weekend by the return of four senior defenders for this weekend's trip against Aston Villa.
Amari'i Bell, Charlie Mulgrew, Darragh Lenihan and Jack Rodwell all missed the last outing against Sheffield Wednesday through injury.
But with a two week break due to international football, Mowbray has revealed that the quartet have now fully recovered and are likely to play a part at Villa Park at the weekend.
“Generally we have good news on the injuries," the boss admitted ahead of the trip to the Midlands.
"The international break allowed a few to get their boots back on and come and train.
“The likes of Mulgrew and [Corry] Evans didn’t make their international games, they both carried knocks and twinges, which is why they were both ruled out.
“Lenihan got his boots back on this week, Mulgrew’s been training with the team, Jack Rodwell’s back and Amari’i Bell’s back.
“It looks brighter on the training ground, it’s not just youth team players now, we also have some men back.
“Fingers crossed that will result in a better outcome on the pitch," he added.
“It gives us more life, there’s more voices, more organising, it’s a noisier training ground with the return of those senior players."
