This season, we're introducing a new feature, bringing Rovers fans that bit closer to members of the current first-team squad.

The idea is simple: 26 questions, one for each letter of the alphabet, with subjects ranging from the players' favourite holiday destinations to the strangest things they've ever seen.

Next up in A-Z is Amari’i Bell, who discusses moths, putting a Premier League star in his back pocket, the amusement of the Scottish accent and much more!

A AWAY - What is your favourite away ground that you've played at?

I’d say the King Power Stadium. It’s so modern, which is what I like with stadiums. I played there in the FA Cup during my time at Fleetwood.

B BANTER - Who's got the best banter in the squad?

I’m going to go for either Charlie Mulgrew or Craig Conway. Their Scottish accent makes everything they say seem a little bit funnier!

C CLUB - What football team do you support?

I’m a Manchester United fan. My older brother is as well. You always look up to your older brother, don’t you?!

D DINING - What would be your last three-course meal?

Garlic prawns for starter. The main would be curried goat on white rice, a Jamaican dish. It’s hard to compare goat to other meat, but it’s amazing. I’d have jam roly poly and custard for dessert.

E EVENINGS - A quiet night in or a night out with the lads? Why?

I’d probably say a night out with the lads. I never enjoy the process of getting ready for a night out, but once I’m out I enjoy it.

F FOREIGN - What's your favourite holiday destination and why?

Las Vegas. It’s an amazing place, on a different level to anywhere else. It always helps when you go just after getting promotion!

G GAME - What's been your favourite football game you've ever played in?

It would be when I made my debut for Birmingham City. I didn’t expect it and was just thrown in. It was against a Leicester City team who were top of the Championship at the time, at St Andrew’s. We lost 2-1 but I got the Man of the Match award. I ended up getting sent out on loan a few weeks later!

H HOBBIES - What do you like to get up to away from football?

Not much these days as I have a little boy. Daddy duties come into play. In the summer I enjoy playing basketball, I’m big into that.

I IDOL - Who was your favourite footballer as a youngster and why?

Ronaldinho. The guy was a magician and I always loved watching him. It was a shame we never saw him play in the Premier League.

J JOBS - Have you had any other jobs aside from playing football?

I’ve always been a footballer, but back in school I had a paper round. It wasn’t too memorable, I don’t even remember the name of the paper. I did it for a good few months and got a bit of money for it, which is all I cared about back then. I’d like to study architecture, and that’s something I’d like to go into in the future. I’m told it takes seven years to study it and get the certificates, but I’ll see if there’s a route to cut down on that time!

K KID - What were you like as a young boy?

I was a bit of a troublemaker. However, I knew when enough was enough and didn’t take things too far.

L LOATH - What annoys you the most and why?

Bad manners. Manners don’t cost a thing. It’s as simple as that!

M MUSIC -  What sort of music are you into and what's your favourite ever tune?

I love RnB. Old school RnB and hip-hop is my sort of thing. In terms of a song, there are too many to name. I did Mario – Let Me Love You for my initiation song.

N NICKNAME - What's the best nickname you've come across in your footballing career?

I was with Cameron Brannagan at Fleetwood and we called him The Hobbit. He was small but had big feet. I think Joe Rothwell played with him at Oxford and said similar a few weeks ago.

O OPTIMISM - What would you like to achieve in your career?

I’d like to play at the highest level and play internationally. They’re the obvious ones.

P PETS - Do you have any pets?

I don’t. I used to have a dog, an American bulldog and a pitbull. I’d like to get another dog, but may have to wait until my son gets a bit older.

Q QUALITY - Who's the best player you've ever played with or against and why?

I played with Ravel Morrison at Birmingham and he was amazing. The things he could do with the ball was a joke. There have been stories about Ravel in the press, but when he was at Birmingham he was fine, a really cool guy. I think he’s in Scandinavia playing at the moment. The best I’ve played against was Riyad Mahrez. I had him in my back pocket!

R RAPID - Who's the quickest player you've played with or against?

Right now there are a few who think they have the crown. There’s Joe Rothwell, Adam Armstrong, Dom and me. It’s out of us four, but on paper Joe would probably win. As for Dom, he’s definitely below me! The quickest I’ve played against is Devante Cole.

S STRANGE - What's the strangest thing you've seen in your life?

It’s quite simply got to be Dacky. He’s just different. That’s my way to describe him. He does dinosaur impressions and makes weird noises, things like that!

T TELEVISION - What do you like to watch on the TV and why?

Eastenders. I never miss it. I’ve grown up watching it and still do now. I love Game of Thrones. That’s the best thing I’ve ever seen.

U UNKNOWN - Tell us something that people don't know about you.

People may not know that I had the chance to play for the city of Birmingham basketball team. I wanted to pursue a career in football instead.

V VIDEO GAMES - Do you own a games console and if so how often do you play it?

I do. I own a PS4 but don’t get to play it too much due to having my son. When I do I play Fifa 19, NBA and Red Dead Redemption.

W WORLD - Where would you most like to visit in your life?

I’d have said America if I was asked last summer. Now it would have to be either Australia or the Philippines.

X XYLOPHONE - Can you play any musical instruments?

Not really. I like to think I can play the keyboard, but it’s not up to scratch to be honest. I’d love to play the saxophone.

Y YIKES - Do you have a fear of anything?

I hate moths and spiders. Moths kind of flutter around and make a bit of noise. If I go to the Australian outback then I’ll come across a few spiders. I can conquer my fears!

Z ZODIAC - What's your star sign?

I’m a Taurus. I don’t read into it too much to be honest.
