Team news: Blackpool v Rovers

All the information ahead of the clash against The Tangerines at Bloomfield Road.

Christian Walton makes his debut for Rovers here at Bloomfield Road as Tony Mowbray names a strong team against Blackpool.

The Brighton & Hove Albion loanee begins in goal, whilst Elliott Bennett returns from injury to start at right back in place of Joe Rankin-Costello.

Charlie Mulgrew starts and partners Darragh Lenihan in the heart of defence, and attacking lineup sees the likes of Sam Gallagher, Adam Armstrong, Bradley Dack and Danny Graham start in a menacing front four.

Options on the bench include the returning Corry Evans, and Joe Grayson, who will come up against father Simon, who is the current Blackpool boss.

A number of ex-Rovers are included in The Tangerines' squad, with Ryan Edwards, Nathan Delfouneso, Jay Spearing and Liam Feeney all included.

New signing James Husband, who signed on a season-long loan deal from Norwich City yesterday, is also a substitute today.
