Rovers are saddened by the news of Kevin Stonehouse's passing over the weekend.
Stonehouse spent four years at Ewood Park (1979-1983), making 91 appearances and scoring 29 goals in all competitions.
After beginning his career with Rovers, Kevin moved on to represent Huddersfield Town and Blackpool before returning to his native north-east to spend three years at Darlington.
The striker later represented Rochdale and Bishop Auckland.
After hanging up his boots, Stonehouse moved into a role at Darlington's Football in the Community organisation before linking up with Newcastle United as part of the Magpies' scouting department.
Our thoughts are with Kevin's family and friends at this incredibly sad time.
