With a number of Development Squad starlets appearing yesterday against Mansfield Town and Macclesfield Town, a young squad will be taken to Clitheroe tonight.

Brad Lyons is the only Under-23s member that is likely to play a part, with the Northern Irishman being an unused substitute in the behind closed doors friendly game with Macclesfield yesterday morning.

Stefan Mols could get further minutes under his belt having appeared for the final 20 minutes against The Silkmen in the 3-1 win.

Louie Annesley has returned from international duty with Gibraltar and could also play having missed out on both of yesterday's squads.

Scheduled in as an Under-23s fixture, Billy Barr is expected to take a mainly Under-18s side to tackle their Northern Premier League Division One North West opponents.

Highly-rated youngsters Sam Barnes, Isaac Whitehall and James Connolly are expected to play a part against their non-league opponents.

Kick-off this evening is at 7.45pm. Admission is priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
