Tony Mowbray is keen for every member of his first team squad to get game time this weekend in Rovers' first pre-season friendly of the summer.
The squad jetted back from Austria earlier this week and will spend today completing their final preparations for tomorrow's game against Barrow at Holker Street.
Managed by Ian Evatt, the Cumbrian outfit finished 10th in the National League last term, with former Rover Lewis Hardcastle featuring on a regular basis for the side.
And looking ahead to the game, Mowbray's aim is to bolster everyone's match fitness.
“We’ll look to give everybody 45 minutes, that’s the simplistic plan at this point," he revealed.
"Of course, there may be injuries beforehand, someone might pull up.
“You might want to make a substitution and give a couple of the younger players 20 minutes each and therefore make substitutions.
“The senior players will get no more than 45 minutes up at Barrow and we’ll take as many players as we can there," he added.
“I expect we’ll bring 24 players with us to Holker Street and see if we can give everyone who travels a game.
“It’s our first game of pre-season, so we won’t be looking to rush into things fitness wise. It’s about a slow building process as the games come along in pre-season."
Kick-off against The Bluebirds is at 3pm, with tickets available both online
and on the day at Barrow.
