Tony Mowbray paid tribute to his team following a sensational team performance to earn a crucial three points at home to Hull City.
Rovers were dominant from from start to finish at Ewood Park, with first half goals from Adam Armstrong and Jack Rodwell putting the hosts in command.
A lovely finish from Man of the Match Harrison Reed added gloss to the scoreline late on as Rovers continued their charge towards the play-offs with a fourth consecutive win in the Championship.
It's the first time in 12 years that Rovers have recorded four victories in a row in the top two tiers of English football.
“It was a huge performance," Mowbray beamed to iFollow Rovers after the latest win.
"We built ourselves up before the game, the preparation went into the match ahead of the game and we recognised that with the teams around us being in the FA Cup, it was a chance to move up the table.
“We were up against a team who have done amazingly well over the last few months - 10 games, seven wins and three draws. That’s amazing for any team.
“We knew it would be a big ask for us, a tough test. They went to Elland Road recently and won there, they’ve drawn at Villa Park last week.
“I was amazed with the application of the team, delighted with the drive and commitment to play on the front foot.
“Winning 3-0, we can’t complain or moan, we’ll put the points in the bag. Let’s have a good week’s training and get ready for next week at Brentford."
