Tony Mowbray’s men can make it three league wins on the spin with victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Here’s our guide to the game…

Rovers sit in 14th position in the Sky Bet Championship table, six points off the play-off places.

Our Emirates FA Cup adventure ended on Tuesday night, with Newcastle United winning 4-2 after extra-time in the replay at Ewood Park.

Adam Armstrong had scored against his former club and Darragh Lenihan also netted on his 150th Rovers start, but it wasn't enough for the Blues to progress to the Fourth Round.

On a more positive note, Rovers followed up victory over West Brom by beating Millwall at The Den, thanks to two late goals from Armstrong and Joe Nuttall.

As always, we'll be bringing you team news and live updates on the game via social media. Fans can follow all the action on our official Twitter account, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Captain Charlie Mulgrew, Derrick Williams, Jack Rodwell and Paul Downing were all unavailable for selection against Newcastle United in midweek due to injury and illness.
But all four are back in contention to tackle the Tractor Boys, whilst midfielder Corry Evans could also be available after limping off at Millwall last weekend.

Ipswich sit bottom of the league, with 18 points from their opening 27 games and are seven points from safety.

However, they did pick up a first win in six games by beating Rotherham United 1-0 last weekend.

The Tractor Boys were the opponents on the opening day of the season, when Rovers had taken a 2-1 lead before a stoppage time equaliser handed the home side a share of the spoils.

New Ipswich manager Paul Lambert returns to Ewood for the first time since he left the club in May 2016.
