Rovers’ can continue a fine start to 2019 by beating in-form Hull City at Ewood Park on Saturday.
Here’s our guide to the game…
STATE OF PLAY
Rovers made it three league wins in a row with victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Danny Graham fired Rovers in front from the penalty spot before the forward’s replacement Joe Nuttall scored with his first touch to ensure another three points were safely in the bag.
That victory propelled Rovers up to 10th in the Sky Bet Championship table.
A win against Hull would see the Blues sit three points away from the play-offs, whatever happens in other games.

Captain Charlie Mulgrew is contention to return to the squad after missing the last three games through injury.
Everyone else is fit and available for selection, other than long-term absentees; Dominic Samuel, Ben Gladwin and Jacob Davenport.
The Tigers are the divisions in-form team, having won seven of their last nine league games, going unbeaten during that run.
Their only defeat of 2019 came in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round, away to Millwall.
Jarrod Bowen may well be the man to watch. The midfielder has netted 14 times in 28 games this season, including eight goals in his last six outings.
Nigel Adkins’ side come into this game off the back of a 2-2 draw away at Aston Villa. City were two goals to the good before being pegged back at Villa Park.
