Rovers Ladies have made their first signing of 2019, with the acquisition of Serena Fletcher.
The young defender, who can play across the back four or as a wide midfielder, joins from Championship side Leicester City Women.
Fletcher, formerly of Manchester United, also plied her trade in Manchester City’s Development side and at Liverpool Women, before joining the Foxes.
Manager Gemma Donnelly commented: “She’s a tenacious and speedy player and with youth on her side, I feel she will be a great signing for us.
“She will really bolster the squad given the couple of injuries that we’ve sustained in defence.”
Beginning her career with Manchester United, Fletcher progressing through their academy before making the moving to Liverpool at the age of 16.
The defender played 20 games for the Reds over two seasons and finished 2016/17 by winning the FA WSL Development League title.
Fletcher won the Development League title again with Manchester City, along with the Development League Cup, making 13 appearances in 2017/18, before leaving to join Leicester.
The 20 year-old turned out nine times for Leicester earlier this season, scoring her first senior goal in the process.
She represented England Under-20s in the La Manga Tournament last year, playing 90 minutes in a 2-0 win over Norway.
The defender also won three caps for England Under-17s in 2015.
Fletcher could make her Rovers Ladies debut on Sunday 13 January, away to Huddersfield Town Ladies.
