Rovers Ladies face Sheffield FC Ladies on Sunday looking to continue a 100% record and remain top of the Northern Premier Division.
Gemma Donnelly’s side come into the game off the back of reaching the Lancashire FA Challenge Cup Final for the 15th successive season.
Goals from Lagan Makin, Natasha Flint and Alex Taylor secured a 3-0 victory over Burnley Women in the last four.
Donnelly said: “The players rose to the challenge and were clinical in all areas of the pitch, in front of an impressive crowd.
“It keeps us on the right path to secure some silverware this season.
“After a much hyped-up encounter, the result was pretty simple. It was a dominant performance.”
But the boss is adamant that their focus is fully on this weekend’s encounter.
“Points are a must. It’s important we don’t lose aim of the whole point of this season - to secure automatic promotion.
“As always we take one game at a time.”
The Ladies beat Sunday’s opponents 7-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season, with six goals coming in a blistering first 45 minutes.
“We had a good, positive result. But irrespective of that, the girls are tasked with ensuring a strong performance with a positive outcome this time around.
"We’ll prepare accordingly and look forward to being back in the league.”
Sheffield sit 11th in the Northern Premier Division, with 10 points from their opening 15 games.
The visitors were defeated 2-1 by Barnsley Ladies in their County Cup Semi Final last time out, while their last league outing was a 5-1 loss at Middlesbrough Women.
Tickets for Sunday’s game (2pm) at Bamber Bridge are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
There’s free entry for Rovers Season Ticket holders and One Club members.
