Pupils from Daisyfield Primary School had special visitors as Rovers defender Derrick Williams and midfielder Joe Rothwell dropped by in the latest community engagement event.
The first-team lads were thrown straight into a game of handball before the excited class of pupils put the Rovers men to the test and showed that they're just as skilful with their hands as the lads are with their feet!
The players then got their opportunity to answer some well put together questions, with both Joe and Derrick giving a fascinating insight into how they started as footballers, as well as describing how resilient you have to be as professional football players.
"You've got to be very resilient as footballers," Williams told the pupils.
"No matter how long you've been in the game, the biggest think is to realise that when you lose a game, there's always that next game to look forward to. You can put it right straight away."
The young class of pupils were left inspired by the Rovers' players words of wisdom and thanked them for their time.
