2019 has started off well for Rovers, and Craig Conway is hoping to continue the unbeaten start to the year at Millwall on Saturday teatime.
A win against West Brom saw Rovers start the year off right at Ewood Park, before the team followed that up with a draw at Premier League side Newcastle United.
Conway started at St James' Park last time out, and will be hoping to continue on one of the flanks in south London.
And he admits the team have plenty of belief ahead of the trip to the capital.
“We've not had a proper run this season where we've won three or four in a row, but that's what we're aiming for soon enough," he told iFollow Rovers.
“In the Championship, over a season, the teams that win two, three, four games in a row, they're the teams who are up there at the top of the league.
“If we can get wins then I think we'll be right up there.
“As a squad I think we're a real tight knit group, who are all great mates. I think that shows.
“We go into every game believing we can get the points, which I don't think was the case too much a few years ago.
“I really don't think there is an easy game in the Championship, especially away from home. Millwall is one of the away days that everyone looks at and knows is tough.
“At home, I'm sure they'll be looking to get the points.
“Over the Christmas period I think we all knew that it wasn't the best. We had to get going again and get back on it, as we have done over the last 18 months or so."
