Rovers need to earn their own luck between now and the end of the season, says Amari'i Bell, ahead of a return to his old club Birmingham City on Saturday.
With 13 games left of the season, Rovers have work to do if they are to burst into play-off contention come the end of the season.
But the top six aim is still achievable, according to Bell, who believes Rovers are capable of mounting a charge towards the summit of the division with consistency and points.
“Fine margins are costing us at the moment and they can make you win games or lose games," the defender told iFollow Rovers.
“We know we are capable of going on a winning run. We did that in January and we just need to have another run similar to that.
“It’s about getting the little things right. We’ve shown at times this season that we can dominate games, so if we can string some results together then we can really shoot up that table."
Bell got himself up and running in Rovers colours with a well taken strike at Reading a week ago, and adds that goals are an aspect of his play that he is desperate to improve with.
“I want to add goals and assists to my game," he said.
"I think as a modern day full back that’s what you need to do. It’s something I’ll be working hard on improving on and hopefully more goals will come my way."
