Rovers returned to winning ways with a comprehensive 3-0 home victory over Newcastle United in the Under-18s Premier League.
Goals from Lenni Cirino, Chanka Zimba and Sam Durrant won the contest for Billy Barr's side, for a first win in 2019 and first in their last five outings.
The goals came at the perfect times for Barr's boys, against a Magpies side, who sit rooted one place off the bottom in the division.
It was Cirino who started the rout off just 11 minutes in by beating Will Brown and finding the back of the net.
Rovers were dominant, and got reward for their pressure with Zimba making it two on the stroke of half time.
The attacks continued, but it took until the 90th minute for Durrant to complete the victory as he tucked home, to help Rovers rise to 8th in the table.
