First team pair Harry Chapman and Jacob Davenport are set to continue their progress back to fitness when Rovers Under-23s head to Doncaster Rovers Under-23s this evening.
The pair, who appeared in last week's clash against Everton, are set to gain more minutes under their belts at the Keepmoat Stadium tonight.
Chapman, who played for just under an hour at Southport, will be hoping to boost his fitness, whilst Davenport may view this evening's encounter as a chance to complete the full game having come through 79 minutes last Monday.
Another who could be involved is Joe Nuttall, who hasn't had too much game time in the first team in recent weeks.
Nuttall has previous against Doncaster though, and scored all four goals in the 4-0 victory against Donny in the competition earlier in the season at Leyland.
Donny, who will finish bottom of Group B whatever the result is this evening, could hand appearances to a number of their first team crop.
The likes of Alfie Beestin, Alfie May and Mallik Wilks could all appear, but Paul Downing won't be allowed to play against his parent club.
Kick-off at the Keepmoat Stadium is at 7pm and there will be full coverage across our social media channels.
